Brilliant wine made of 100% Chenin Blanc, a little seen grape in Singapore that produces some of the juiciest and well-balanced white wines around. Chenin is famous for its high acidity - which does not mean that it is sour or sharp - it means mouthwatering and that it pairs delightfully with food.
The Loire Valley is the birthplace and spiritual home of Chenin Blanc, which grows beautifully there, producing wines of great complexity and charm. This wine comes from the Anjou region of the Loire Valley, from vineyards tucked away just south of the Loire River - the longest river in France.
This wine is made in a modern Chenin style - you'll find a rich fruity wine with peach, apple, pear and quince on the nose, and a slight hint of that signature Chenin beeswax character. Delightful on its own as an aperitif, or with seafood and white meats.
